Finally.

Blogging is one of those things I have wanted to do for some time now, but got so overwhelmed at the mere thought of actually creating it that I haven't done it. Well, enough of that.

So why now? So much is changing, so many fresh starts. With all the positivity around me lately, it just seems like a perfect time.  As some of you know, this has been a pretty rough couple of years. The good news is things are all looking up now. My family is healthy, my children are extraordinary and H even starts school next week!

Along with all the 'good' it's time to work on the 'healthy' for me.

One thing you can count on me for is eating when stressed. Well, with all the recent stress I have gained an enormous amount of weight. While I won't divulge that number, I will say I need to lose 65 lbs. 65 FREAKING pounds. I'm 34, I don't have to be this way forever!! I say that to remind myself, of course.

I would like to worry about things like "I hope we have fun when we go out" or that evreyone shows instead of "what can I wear to masquerade my ginormous weight gain" or my personal favorite- "I know they are all talking about me, how couldn't  they be?"

Going to the mall used to be my favorite pass time....I would like that back now- please.

SO HERE ARE THE SHORT TERM GOALS
  • Update this blog so I am accountable- twice weekly
  • Keep up with Weight Watchers online- daily
  • 1 weight Watchers Meeting a week
  • Sign up for the Goblin Gallup on 10/31...oh and start training?
  • 30 minutes of exercise a day- EVERYDAY
I realize these are pretty abstract, but for now, I plan to log back in on Monday and see how I've done.
